Agua de Cuevas is a benchmark brand of recognised prestige and firmly established roots in Asturias. It has recently undergone an important period of evolution within the highly competitive bottled water market. The company, established in 1994, uses as its source a spring in the mountain of San Isidro, on the border with Leon, and in 2013 bottled over 25 million litres of water.
Hijos de Rivera acquired this Asturian mineral water bottling plant in 2010, making the Agua de Cuevas spring a full member of its mineral water side of the business. The company already had a long and successful track record in this market with Cabreiroa.
