General Information

The Estrella Galicia factory is located in the industrial estate of A Grela in A Coruña. All the beer brands of the corporation have been produced in its facilities since the early 70s when the main building was constructed, which also holds the offices of a large number of employees. Annexed to this is a recently completed building containing the brew house, increasing the size of the existing offices, industrial area and warehouse space.

Hijos de Rivera produces 200 million litres a year of its different beer brands in its A Coruña factory. A 100% natural production process based on water, malted barley, hops and corn, completed with exclusive yeast strains which come from Germany on a monthly basis. This production cycle results in Estrella Galicia Especial, Estrella Galicia 0,0, Estrella Galicia Sin Gluten, Estrella Galicia Pilsen, Shandy Estrella Galicia, 1906 Reserva Especial, 1906 Red Vintage and 1906 Black Coupage.

    • ALCOHOL CONTENT: 5,5% ALC. VOL.
    • IDEAL SERVING TEMPERATURE: 4-5º C.

    Fresh and natural beer.
The freshness of this beer is fundamentally due to the absence of pasteurisation. This is one of its main features and one that differentiates it from beer in a bottle, can or barrel.

    Freshly-made beer.
The Cerveza de Bodega is kept in perfect conditions without the need to pasteurise, as the cold chain is unbroken during the whole process.

A beer which does not come into contact with any gas.
During both its transportation in a tanker truck and its storage in beer tanks, this beer is kept in a single-use sterile bag which allows constant temperature and pressure to be kept. This allows the same level of carbonisation with which it leaves Hijos de Rivera to be kept throughout its consumption.
